Celebrate Card 2

I am getting ready to celebrate my 43rd birthday next week so I thought I would make a card today to celebrate. Things have been crazy and time has gotten away from me. School will be out soon and the teachers will be gone so it will slow down a little until August. Another 4 more weeks in the air cast from when I broke my foot February. A grand total of 13 weeks by the time I go back again to the Dr. Will it ever end. LOL I am just thankful it was not worse. Hope you all are enjoying good weather for once! Prayers go out to anyone who may have been affected by the storms.

Recycling Old Christmas Cards

This year I decided to save all my old Christmas cards to use again in new homemade cards. I used one card to make the waterfall section of the card. I cut it into two inch squares. This card was perfect for that because the pictures where already in square shapes. For detailed instructions on how to make a waterfall card go to: Crafting at the Spotted Canary

National Scrapbook Day Challange # 11 My Pink Stamper

had to make this one quick. Not much time today. I used the Cuttlebug Morrocan card o emboss the card. I then used one of Martha Stewart's Scallop edge punches. I used a paper studio stamp for the message. A one $1 punch for the butterflies.

Just Because

I used the Gypsy to create the card. Crossing over two images to make one foldable card. I cut the flower from the Creative Memories Reminisce Accents. I then used glitter and a jewel to decorate it.

Simple Scrapbook Page

Sometimes we tend to over do it on scrapbook pages and the pictures disappear because of to much frufru. I do that myself sometimes. Somtimes we need to let the pictures take the stage on the page by allowing simplicity in our designs.

A Little Hope

Pamphlet storage in scrapbooks

I took green textured paper andcut into squares out 2 inches larger then my pamphlets. I them adhered them to the page on 3 sides leaving to top open. I took strips of  lighter shade paper that came in a precut package of shapes to make the square look like luggage.

Pop up Cupcake Card

This card was made with the Cricut Imagine. I printed and cut three cupcakes from the "Yummy" Cricut Imagine cartridge. One cupcake at 3 inches and the other two at 2. I then folded the 3 inch cupcake in half with a bone folder image facing outside when folded. Then I folded the corners up to the center fold so that the image is folded onto itself amking a triangular shape. I positioned the folded cupcake inside the card, with the card closed to see how far down the  cupcake needs to go so that it won't stick out of the card when it is closed. The center fold on the card should be lined up with the center fold of the cupcake. I then taped the cupcake onto the card two inches down from the top of the card with my ATG gun. Only putting one strip of adhesive at the very bottom of the cupcake. I then also put adhesive along the outside of the fold lines.

Happy Birthday Brenden

Boy it has been a long time since I have been able to post. Broke my foot and have been in a boot seems like forever. I have been so busy with church and other things I have not had time to even be in my craftroom. Here is a fun card I made for my nephews birthday. Hope you like it. You can find the directions on how to make this card at the  Spotted Canary website. If I borrow an idea I like to give credit where credit is due. They also have a cool waterfall card idea I am going to try in the future. I used the Cricut Imagine to make the pop up pictures and circle.
