Perfect Harmony

I made this card for our choir director at church so that we could let her know how much we appreciate every thing she does for us. I used the Cricut Imagine and the Imagine More cartridge. I picked the perfect harmony imagine and layered the image. I then deleted the larger outer oval. I changed the background to the small outer oval to blue. Using one of the built in shapes on the cricut imagine I put a musical note background and then cut the pieces out. I then used brown chalk ink to shade the edges of the papers. I then used the same blue background to cut out the thank you I found on the Storybook Cricut cartridge. I hope you enjoy.

Missing Ewe

I am really missing my family so I decided to make this card for one onf my family members.  Thank God I get to see them at Christmas. All except my brother Chris and his wife. They are in Texas and we wont be able to see them. I used the Nursery Tails Cartridge for the Lamb. The background was cut on blue paper using one of the shapes included on the Cricut Imagine machine. I then embossed the paper with a Cuddlebug embossing folder called Morrocan Screen. I cut the oval shape using the Cuddlebug Pearl Frame. Using only the center piece that you would normally throw away. The outer oval was cut using my Creative Memories oval cutters. I hope you like the card and thanks for visiting.

You Make Me Hoppy

The Cricut Imagine Nursery Tails Cartridge is filled with several cute animals that can be layered into just about any design you choose. I used the background layers of the Sweet baby lamb layout and cut into two different sizes and color filled them. I then filled the center layer with a differnet background that matched the frog. The frog and bird were taken from the Baby Boy layout on the Nursery Tails cartridge. I used my Martha Stewart scallop edge for the bottom. I then took some clear label stickers and madprinted out some sayings that went along with the designs on the cartridges I have. I used Microsoft word and Avery Labels to make the sayings.

YOU MAKE ME SMILE

I made this card with my Cricut Imagine and the Best Friends Cartridge. I love all the different ways you can use the Imagine. I still wouldn't get rid of my expression because it cuts harder materials and is also portable. I am hoping they come out soon with different designs for the Imagine that are more elegant and not so cartoonish. I look forward to see what they come out with in the future.

Cricut Imagine Challange Card

I made this card with the Cricut Imagine Imagine More cartridge for My Pink Stampers Imagine challange. I love My Pink Stampers website!  I have had the chicken wire paper for a long time now and never knew how to use it. It was perfect for this project.

Hoppy Bosses Day

I made this card for one of my bosses who loves frogs. I used my Cricut Imagine to print out the scallop circle, frog and bird. I used the Martha Stewart Border bunch to create the scallop ribbon behind the circle. I then printed out "Have a Hoppy Bosses Day" on my computer. There are so many things you can do with the Cricut Imagine.

This is "Think Pink Week" at My Pink Stamper. Please go over and take a look at the posting she has about why this is Think Pink Week.  There are so many people out there suffering from Breast Cancer. This week is in honor of a friend of hers who is fighting it right now.  Please pray for her and all the other women out there fighting this. Here is the project I did.

Using white core paper and the Cuttlebug embossing folders

I just recently purchased a Cuttlebug and I am loving it. This weekend was the first time I tried a sanding technique I have seen all over the web. I embossed the Colorbok cardstock paper I got at Walmart with two of my favorite Cuttlebug embossing folders. I then sanded the paper with fine sanding paper to make the white core show through. It almost looks like leather. I made the cards real simple because I thought the sanding effect was enough.

Little Miracles Card

I used the new Cuddlebug "Welcome Baby" embossing set I got a Big Lots for $2 to make this card. This was a very easy card to make but I think sometimes simplicity is sometimes best.

Flat Stanley's Visit

My nephew Brenden sent Flat Stanley to me for a class project. Flat Stanley had to spend five days with us and we had to take him everywhere we went and record his adventures. When the 5 days are over we have to send him back to Brendens teacher so she can show the class all of Flat Stanley's adventures with us. Well I decided that flat Stanley could help me make a card for the My Pink Stampers MPS Challange.
http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2010/04/mps-challenge-pink-green-black-create.html

Here is the card that Flat Stanley and I are submitting.
We used the "Wild Card Cartridge to make the diamond background. The smile tag was made with the "A Child's Year" cartridge.  The butteryfly was made with the "Home Accents" cartridge.

We also made another card together. Hope you like it.

Wedding Cake Card

This is my wedding cake card and envelope made with the Cricut Wild Card cartridge. Everyone should have this cartridge if you own a Cricut! It is very versitile. The designs on the cake where made with the Storybook cartridge and the Provo Craft Gypsy. I cut two pieces of the design on the bottom of the cake and cut it in half so that I could space the design out across the bottom. I glittered the designs using double sided glue and let them dry. I then used a glue pen to draw the icing on the cake topping it with glitter. I cut the word "love" using the Sweethearts Cartridge.
